At Diamond Trucks, we believe that being part of the transport industry means more than keeping businesses moving. It's also about supporting the communities around us and making a positive difference wherever we can.

With World Homeless Day taking place on 10th October, we were proud to bring together customers, colleagues and representatives from our charity partner, Simon Community Northern Ireland, at our Belfast depot for a special event dedicated to raising awareness of homelessness.

The event provided an opportunity to connect with our customers, share conversations and learn more about the challenges facing people experiencing homelessness across Northern Ireland.

We were delighted to welcome Rebekah from Simon Community NI, who spoke about the charity's work, the realities of homelessness and the support available to people facing housing insecurity.

It was a valuable opportunity to hear more about an issue that affects individuals and communities in many different ways.

Alongside the discussions, the event gave everyone a chance to catch up over food, kindly provided by The Spitting Pig, and come together in support of an important cause.

Supporting Simon Community NI

Simon Community NI provides support to people experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity across Northern Ireland. Through our partnership, we hope to help raise awareness of the charity's work and encourage others to get involved.

We'd like to thank Rebekah and the entire Simon Community NI team for taking the time to join us, The Spitting Pig for providing the catering, and all our customers and colleagues who came along and showed their support.

Making a Difference Together

World Homeless Day serves as an important reminder of the need to support people experiencing homelessness and the organisations working to make a difference.

We're proud to support Simon Community NI and encourage anyone who would like to contribute to the charity's work to find out more or make a donation.
