In the spirit of camaraderie and remembrance, Diamond Trucks is embarking on a heartfelt journey to honor the memory of our dear colleague and friend, Connor McGrugan. As we approach the first anniversary of his tragic loss, we are channeling our grief into a meaningful endeavor that reflects the essence of Connor's vibrant spirit.
The Marathon and Climb: On the 5th of May, a dedicated team from Diamond Trucks will be participating in the Belfast Marathon, with Paul Addis taking on the full marathon and Iain Latimer, Mark Stinson, Andrena Thompson, James Jordan, and Arlene McKeag forming a relay team to help reach the finish line. The challenge doesn't stop there – on the 12th of May, our Belfast Diamond Trucks team will ascend Slieve Donard in Newcastle, marking another step in our collective effort to raise awareness for the organizations that do so much for our local communities.
Our Cause: In honor of Connor's memory and the incredible support he received, we have chosen to raise funds for two invaluable organizations: Air Ambulance and REVIVE ICU.
Air Ambulance:Â On that fateful day, Air Ambulance played a crucial role, providing quick and critical assistance at the scene of Connor's accident.
REVIVE ICU:Â Throughout Connor's time in the ward, REVIVE ICU provided unwavering support to him and his family, offering compassionate care during a difficult period.
