As the sun shone bright this summer, so did the incredible handovers, milestones, and memorable moments across the Diamond Trucks network. From bold fleet additions to heartfelt goodbyes, here’s a look back at some of the standout highlights from July and August.

A Bold New Arrival for Liam Connolly Ltd

We kicked off July on a high note as our Regional HGV Accounts Manager, Matthew Keys, handed over a stunning Renault T High 520 to Liam Connolly Ltd—a brilliant addition to their ever-growing fleet.

This head-turning vehicle features a vibrant yellow finish and custom livery, expertly applied by Tierney Motors Emyvale, ensuring it stands out on any road. But it’s not just about good looks—this T High is built for serious performance and driver comfort.

Key features include:

• Front air suspension for enhanced ride quality

• Dura-Bright alloy wheels

The Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) was completed to the highest standard by our trusted partners at MK Truck Repairs Ltd, ensuring this powerhouse was ready to roll from day one.

Farewell to a True Legend: Robert Buckley

This summer also brought a more emotional moment, as we said goodbye to one of our own—Robert Buckley.

Robert wasn’t just one of the longest-serving members of the Diamond Trucks team; he was the parts department. With an encyclopaedic knowledge of every nut and bolt, unwavering dedication, and razor-sharp wit, he became a beloved cornerstone of our Belfast premises.

His departure is a true loss for our team, but his impact will never be forgotten. This is what we mean when we say Diamond Trucks is a family—Robert will always be part of ours.

Repeat Business from Sean Farrelly

Another exciting July moment came as Sean Farrelly took delivery of a powerful new Renault Trucks T 520 Mini Midlift Tractor Unit.

Returning five years after purchasing his first Renault T Range, Sean knew exactly where to turn for a reliable and high-performance upgrade. Once again, it was Mike Carr—who handled the original handover—who was there to deliver the keys.

We’re proud to have earned Sean’s continued trust and loyalty, and we wish him all the best with his new truck!

Double Trouble for PRM Group

Also in July, Matthew Keys delivered not one, but two Renault T High 520 6x2 Pusher Tractor Units to our valued customer, PRM Group Ltd.

It’s fantastic to see the PRM fleet expanding with more T Highs—and we’re thrilled to be part of that journey. Each vehicle is packed with premium features for driver comfort and operational efficiency, including:

• Luxury driver’s seat

• 40L refrigerator

• Ultimate leather steering wheel

• Top bunk (convertible to shelf with ladder)

Our expert team at the Mallusk depot completed the PDIs efficiently and to the highest standards, ensuring both trucks were road-ready and raring to go.

Top Marks for a Champion Handover!

Another stunning Renault Master Horsebox, handed over by our LCV Sales Manager – Ian McMullan, went to the incredible Katy Marks of Top Marks Horsebox Hire!

As a champion show jumper, Katy knows exactly what horse and rider need. This top-spec conversion, expertly built by Topline Horseboxes Ltd, delivers maximum comfort, safety, and standout style.

A Showstopper for R.A.S Haulage Ltd

In August, Dealer Principal Iain Latimer had the pleasure of handing over a highly customised Renault T High 520 Mid-Lift Tractor Unit to R.A.S Haulage Ltd—a long-standing supporter of the Renault Trucks brand.

This deal also included a comprehensive Repair & Maintenance package, providing added peace of mind for the miles ahead.

The vehicle was brought to life by a top-tier team of specialists:

Our skilled Mallusk Service Team added the finishing touches, including interior lights, TV, microwave, inverter, double tail lights, and completed the full PDI.
